Third-Party Ronin Game Battle Bears Heroes Soft Launches via App Stores

The famous Battle Bears series has gone Web3 with an early launch in partnership with Sky Mavis and Ronin Network.

SkyVu’s blockchain title, Battle Bears Heroes, goes live in multiple regions

Battle Bears Heroes, a top-down shooter on Ronin Network, is now available in soft launch on the Google Play and Apple App Store.
According to game creator SkyVu, Battle Bears Heroes is now available for download in Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. It is a top-down shooter featuring multiplayer gameplay inspired by the franchise’s classic mobile hit BB GO. As one of the third-party titles launching on Ronin, the game will contain iconic Battle Bears content while being integrated with Web3 tech.

Battle Bears Heroes has five immersive modes: Mini MOBA, Death Match, Brick Battle, Battle Royale, and Campaign mode. The Mini MOBA takes a lighter approach to the usual hardcore MOBA gaming, with teams of 3 competing to destroy opposition towers while gaining buffs by defeating classic BB foes. Brick Battle is a new twist on Capture the Flag inspired by user feedback, while Battle Royale is a 10-player battle royale where players scavenge for resources and knock out enemies to be the last bear standing. Death Match will offer classic 3v3 gameplay inspired by the fan-favorite BB GOLD. At the same time, Campaign mode will be a modern take on the iconic BB-1 campaign, complete with classic cutscenes and powerful enemies.

Those who actively participate in the soft launch, according to SkyVu, will be rewarded with exclusive in-game skins prior to the global launch. Outside of the gameplay, fans can also own and unlock new powerful heroes, such as those available in the coming Battle Bears Elite PFP collection that offers exclusive access to individual quests, co-op campaigns, and more.
